The Intellectual Future Between Humans and Machines

Friday Feelgood Talks – April 20
The Intellectual Future Between Humans and Machines

During the course of the exhibition we feel the urge to unpack parts of the discussion on innovation in a more conversational setting. Join in for this afterwork session, grab a beer and enjoy.

This particular talk will question our relation towards machines and our own relations towards labour any asking: what does it mean to be human within an AI driven world?
Two philosophers from the Me You and The Robot collective will be exploring the future relation between humans and technology in regards to the question of labour within the intellectual domain.

Me You and The Robot is a multidisciplinary collective lead by Erik Vlemmix and Henrique Nascimento in collaboration with Nort Vlemmix, Fabian Bäumer and Cas Hariri. The collective investigates the implications of robotisation on the future of work. On the crossroads of ethics, technology and design, they propose scenarios on new models of collaboration between humans and algorithms. The collective works with products, installations and videos to create interactive experiences between man and machine.
