AI, Chatbots and Biases

Thursday Workshop – April 19
AI, Chatbots and Biases

Through this workshop we plan to build our own chatbot with a critical approach on AI.

In our current society the growing influence of artificial intelligence faces us with new challenges. We’re also starting to become more conscious about biases in our education: from textbooks to news feed, from translations to job applications. At this time AI is mostly seen as objective, however it needs data to learn how to make autonomous decisions. Therefore if the input is biased, the machine will emphasize those bias. How can we challenge this issue surrounding an upcoming and growing technology? Join in and make your own chatbots!

This workshop is conducted by Giacomo Nanni and Niek van Sleeuwen.
